Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 October 2026
Expressive Clock is an Android clock application that provides alarms, a world clock, timers, a stopwatch, and a home-screen clock widget. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Information the app handles
Expressive Clock does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, contacts, or precise location. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, and the developer does not operate a server to collect app usage data.
To provide its features, the app stores app data on your device. This may include alarm and timer configurations, selected world-clock locations, widget configuration, and app preferences. This information is used to operate the features you choose and is not sent to the developer by the app.
Permissions and special access
Depending on which features you use and which Android version your device runs, Expressive Clock may request permissions or special access for exact alarms, notifications, vibration, keeping alarm audio running, showing the active timer or stopwatch overlay above other apps, and allowing reliable background operation.
The optional Accessibility Service is used only to display the timer and stopwatch overlay in the system window layer. It does not inspect screen content, process accessibility events, perform gestures, or read key presses. You can manage or revoke permissions and special access in Android Settings; disabling them may limit the related feature.
Sharing and third-party services
The developer does not sell or share app data with advertisers or data brokers. Expressive Clock does not include third-party advertising or analytics services.
If you install or update the app through Google Play, Google Play may process technical and app-related information to provide its store, distribution, and update services under Google's own terms and privacy policy. Android's backup feature may also back up app data according to your device and Google account settings. These platform services are controlled by their respective providers, not by the developer of Expressive Clock.
Storage, retention, and deletion
App data is stored locally on your device. You can remove individual alarms, timers, locations, or preferences using the app's available controls. Clearing Expressive Clock's storage or uninstalling the app removes its local app data, subject to any Android backup or restore settings you have enabled.
Children's privacy
Expressive Clock does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users. The app does not provide an account or a mechanism for submitting personal information to the developer.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the app's features or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page, with its effective date updated when appropriate.
